This summer brought our studio so many family families who were grateful for the opportunity to be together after such a long stretch of being apart. This family was clearly over the moon delighted to be back together.

We met at Piper’s Lagoon which was a special spot for the family. Golden hour light is a bit tricky at this location because of the way the lagoon is situated. Luckily this family was so excited to be together that many natural, candid moments happened organically and we optimized the short time we have golden light.

We always scout client’s location requests prior to their session to make sure we have the best light and time to get the most out of their location for their session.

The grandkids adored each other! The were hugging most of the session. Sometimes in sessions you’ll hear, “Get closer, pretend you like each other!” just to remind everyone to stay in a close unit. These clients didn’t need that reminder!

This session was so special. Watching these cousins be close to each other again was awesome.
