Nanaimo, Parksville, Qualicum Cake Smash| Claire

Claire came to see me for her 1st birthday cake smash and blew her session out of the water! Even though this little one decided to skip her usual nap she totally rocked her session!

I just recently acquired this antique high chair. I am constantly keeping an eye out for unique props that are timeless and photograph beautifully. My poor family is often waiting for me all over the place because “I saw a basket in the window of a store back there.”

I have no regrets. This hair chair is perfection.

This little lady’s mum messaged me to plan an elegant, vintage feel cake smash for her daughter’s first birthday. She sent me some of her inspiration ideas and I could totally get a vibe for this set!

Although Claire wasn’t a huge fan of eating cake she was pretty into smashing it. At one point she just plowed through it to our delight. Truthfully, there is basically no other time in your life people celebrate you while you completely demolish a cake.
