Nanaimo, Parksville + Qualicum Beach| Cashion Family Session

Extended family photo sessions are super special, especially this year. This year they are about togetherness like never before. This family was really enjoying being back together and it was so much fun being with them on the beach and in the sun!

We work pretty quickly with each family in an extended family session to create images that will document their time as a family together.

Having extended family at your session means even if you have a baby or dog you can have someone hold on to them for you which allows you to capture some snuggly couple pictures on top of family photos.

We lucked out, even though it was full sun we had a few whispy clouds that lended some really awesome Westcoast vibes to this session.

We were working fast to stay ahead of the sun getting too high, which can be pretty glaring even in the early morning, and this entire family was able to rock their session.

One of the reasons I limit the amount of clients I take on each month is so I have flexibility with each client to work with the weather, travel plans, unexpected arrivals of newborns (late or early!). Originally we had planned to meet the day prior but with how close that was to this family arriving in the Oceanside area, I really wanted to give them an extra day to get the kids comfortable with the session spot. We also adjusted the time as I went day to the location prior to find the best time. I love being able to dedicate more than adequate time to each of my clients.
