Nanaimo, Parksville, Qualicum Cake Smash| Kelani
First Birthday’s are super special and I’ve had the fortune of photographing so many lately! They are a time of celebration for parents, siblings and 1 year olds, too!
I met this beautiful family when Kelani was 3 months old. We planned to do her newborn photos but covid interrupted that plan so we met up for a milestone session.
This little cutie had so many great, expressive faces and I feel like we captured many of them!
Mom brought pearls and the tutu and it suited her so well. She looked perfectly suited to smash cake or go to a party… or go to a party and smash cake, whatever happens when you’re one happens!
Every time I said, “Awe!” (and trust me when I say, it was a lot…) She would strike THIS adorable pose and then I would say, “AWE!” again because who wouldn’t?!
I’ve also had the pleasure of photographing her brother as well (equally photogenic and cute!) And when we were cleaning up the daintily smashed cake he decided he was going to get in on the action!
Cake wants to be eaten and I want to take pictures of kids eating cake so we may have added a few of these to the gallery, too!
I am so lucky to have such amazingly wonderful clients! I can’t wait to see where this next year takes this beautiful family.
