Nanaimo, Parksville, Qualicum Beach Maternity Session| Ashley

This family has been with me for a while now. This was our 4th session together. In this session we utilized the varying backdrop of the amazing coastline in Parksville. Sweeping, dramatic views for the black dress from my client closet. Romantic and dreamy for the white dress from my client closet in the woods.

In anticipation of their second child (a brother for their first born!), Ashley and her family booked an outdoor maternity session. Watching client’s families grow is a huge job highlight.

Outdoor Maternity sessions always have room for family to join. Truthfully, some of the best shots are candid moments of when a little one comes running through a frame or two! Having family in a session is a great way to document how life was right before you became a completely different family unit!

I am so excited to watch these brothers become good friends! It is so incredibly special having a sibling.

I have to mention this amazing chaise! My clients BROUGHT THIS to their session. I could see them coming to our location from a mile away because they had it strapped to the back of a pick up truck! This chaise lounge is no stranger to photoshoots as it was a featured prop at their wedding several years prior! The chaise has been in their family for a very long time and having it in their images made it even more meaningful!
