Nanaimo, Parksville + Qualicum Beach Family Session| Kim Family

This family was visiting the area and wanted to document their stay here. They loved the beaches and wanted to make sure to get images that reflected where they were spending their time. We started our session fairly early in the morning for the best light and weather. This isn’t always the case, sometimes a location has nicer light in the evening or the weather calls for rain in all morning.

Around this time of year it cools off a bit and it can be chilly so lots of prompts were used to keep the kids busy and warm. The kids were into the session and were loving the cool water and the many beach discoveries. (We found crabs, jelly fish and cool tide pools galore.) It was a perfect morning balanced between exploring, playing and documenting.

This family was having a really relaxed time interacting in front of a camera and it was so fun documenting their connection.

We live in a beautiful place and it was a prefect day for photos on the beach. We only take a select few clients a month so that we have flexibility to wait out the most desirable weather during your stay and to fit in early or late arrival newborns.
