This is the first time we have had a Valentine’s Baby in our studio! Sien’s mom called with a great idea- to celebrate this little cherub by having a Cupid themed cake smash!

We always start your smasher with portraits before cake hits the scene (and the cheeks!) This is a great time for them to warm up and let their personality shine.

The progression of Sien realizing he is allowed to smash this cake is hysterical. He did a solid check in with everyone several times before he made THIS face:

We LOVE working with you to make your vision come to life. When you call about a cake smash idea we love getting creative and combining your theme with our vision. Then we take our ideas to our pro bakers to start creating the smash cake. The entire process comes together when we add in the smasher!

Not every baby goes face first into their cake… but Sien does. It’s one of the many reasons we adore this little cupid. The other reasons are ALL the faces. He really started to ham it up for the camera when we realized he was allowed to smash an entire cake!
