Parksville, Qualicum Beach, Nanaimo Cake Smash Session| Taelyn
This was a special session because we knew it was going to be in the windows of our towns beloved toy store The Qualicum Beach Toy Shop for the spring.
Cake smashes have become a favourite at the studio. Designing and creating unique sets and working with the 1 year old age group has been so wonderful.
This set was inspired by Spring Time and I think we nailed the theme. We went with a clean and bright set that was simple but elegant and used purple as our accent colour.
The set, outfits and cake are all provided. You tell us what your vision is and we work on bringing it to life in our style.
Sometimes it takes kids a little while to warm up and show their personality. Taelyn barely took any time at all. If she needed more time warm up we definitely would have taken it. We limit how many sessions we take a month which allows flexibility with session lengths.
Once a baby is feeling like themselves in front of the lens we bring in the cake!
Taelyn didn’t mind the texture of the cake. Some littles are not into sticky things on their fingers. We can appreciate that every baby is different have a variety of strategies to help get your baby smashing.
What a smasher!
All cake smashes include a splash portion. So far there hasn’t been a baby who hasn’t loved our tiny tub.
Taelyn was almost as good at splashing as she was at smashing!
